Torchwood: Children of Earth Final Ratings

tw_coe_final_ratingsFinal viewing ratings have been released by BARB, and they show that all 5 episodes made it into the top 20 programmes for the week. The opening episode, Day One, received a rating of 6.47 million viewers, which placed it 13th in the list, Day Two received 6.14 million making the lowest watched episode of the series, Day Three got 6.4 million, Day Four received 6.76 million viewers making the highest rated episode of the series and Day Five managed 6.58 million. Children of Earth recieved an average of 6.47 million viewers and was beat by the top three soaps and Top Gear, however only on episode of Emmerdale rated higher than Torchwood. Over on BBC HD Torchwood got the top 5 places for the week and three of the five midnight repeats got place 6, 7 and 8. Meanwhile the BBC Three repeats on the same night got places 5-9, with three repeats of Eastenders and one episode of Family Gut got the top 4 places. Planet of the Dead: Final Ratings

potd_final_ratingsThe final ratings for the easter special, Planet of the Dead, have now been released. The ratings show that Doctor Who received 9.54 million viewers on BBC One with a further 205,000 viewers watching on BBC HD, the final appreciation index for Planet of the Dead is 88. Doctor Who was the 5th most watched programme for the week with Britain’s Got Talent, Coronation Street and Eastenders beating it. The Sunday repeat of Doctor Who on BBC Three received 0.91 million viewers.

The Next Doctor: Final Ratings

The final ratings for The Next Doctor have now been officially released by BARB, the ratings show that The Next Doctor received 13.10 million viewers. The episode was the second most watched programme of the week only being beat by Wallace and Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death. The episode is the 5th most watched programme of the year being beat by Wallace and Gromit, The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent. The episode is the 9th most watched episode since 1963, only being beat by Voyage of the Damned from the new series. Ratings for the Doctor Who Prom will be released next week.

Final Ratings: Journey’s End

Final ratings for the last episode of this series of doctor who have now been released. The ratings state that Journey’s End achieved 10.57 million viewers and was the most watched program of the week for the first time in the shows history beating Wimbledon, Eastenders and Coronation Street.

The ratings state that The Stolen Earth achieved 8.78 million viewers and was the 2nd most watched program of the week being Match of the Day (Euro 2008 Final). Final ratings for the 13th episode, Journey’s End will be released next week.

The ratings state that Turn Left achieved 8.09 million viewers and was the 4th most watched program of the week being beaten by editions of Eastenders and Coronation Street. The ratings state that Midnight achieved 8.05 million viewers and was the 5th most watched program of the week being beaten by The Apprentice and an editions of Eastenders and Coronation Street.
