Torchwood: Children of Earth Day Five Overnight Ratings

The ratings show that Day Five achieved 5.8 million viewers, a drop of 100,000 viewers from the first episode. Torchwood: Children of Earth – Day Five was the fourth highest rated programme of the day, beating Emmerdale, but being beat by Eastenders and Coronation Street. The audience share for Torchwood: Children of Earth – Day Five was 26.7%.

Torchwood: Children of Earth – Day Four was the second highest rated programme of the day, beating Emmerdale. The audience share for Torchwood: Children of Earth – Day Four was 27%.

The ratings show that Day Three achieved 5.9 million viewers, the same amount as the first episode, Day One. Torchwood came close in beating Emmerdale, and could beat the programme when final figures are released, the only other programme to beat Day Three was Coronation Street, Torchwood: Children of Earth – Day Three was the third highest rated programme of the day. The audience share for Torchwood: Children of Earth – Day Three was 27.1%.

The ratings show that Day Two achieved 5.6 million viewers, a drop of 300,000 viewers from Day One. However, due to Eastenders and Emmerdale losing ratings because of the Michael Jackson Memorial, Torchwood: Children of Earth – Day Two was the highest rated programme of the day. The audience share for Torchwood: Children of Earth – Day Two was 24%.

Planet of the Dead: Overnight Ratings

The ratings show that Planet of the Dead received 8.41 million viewers on BBC One, with an additional 184,000 viewers watching on BBC HD. Doctor Who was the most watched programme of the day on BBC One, but came second, just missing out to Britain’s Got Talent as the most watched programme overall. Against Doctor Who, Primeval received 2.71 million viewers and Robin Hood, which transmitted after Doctor Who got 5.26 million viewers. Doctor Who Confidential achieved 0.46 million viewers. The Sarah Jane Adventures Red Nose Day Special Ratings

The overnight ratings for the Sarah Jane Adventures Red Nose Day special mini-sode have now been released. The ratings show that the special was watched by around 8.3 million viewers. The 1 1/2 slot that David Tennant presented with Davina McCall had an average of 9.2 million viewers, Comic Relief peaked at 9pm with around 12.7 million viewers. The Next Doctor: Overnight Ratings

The ratings for The Next Doctor, which was broadcast last night have been revealed. The ratings show that Doctor Who received 11.7 million viewers, with an audience share of 50.5%, Doctor Who was the second most watched program of the day, being beat by Wallace and Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death which received 14.3 million viewers, Doctor Who is also the second most watched programme of the week and the 10th most watched programme of the year. Overnight Ratings: Journey’s End

The overnight ratings for last night’s episode, Journey’s End are in. The figures show that the episode achieved 9.4 million viewers giving an audience share of 45.9%, Doctor Who was the most watched program for the day beating Casualty by nearly 4 million viewers. ITV’s most watched program for the day was New You’ve Been Framed with 2.4 million viewers. Currently Doctor Who is the most watched program for the week, of no program today beats 9.4 million viewers then it will be the first time since the show’s return to be the most watched program of the week.
